From its inception, the Trust has supported the University of Gloucestershire (formerly the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education) by grants to help in many areas of its work, but particularly the visual arts. 2006 saw a major contribution to improve gallery facilities on the Pittville Campus: my photograph was taken in April 2008, when the refurbished space eventually opened.
