Henry Lascelles Jenner was travelled round the world to take possession (without success) of the bishopric of Dunedin, and met on the outward journey Arthur L[ascelles], the son of his "first cousin Frank" and "Rowley's brother". [The "Frank" here may be the son of his mother's brother Rowley.] He also met his brother Arhur (in NY), and a friend of his brother Augustus between 1868 and 1869.

Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner appeared in the household of Robert Francis Jenner in the 1841 census at Wenvoe Castle. Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner "was undoubtedly the best private singer of Handel in England," according to Mr Ellerton, "a great musician". She died on 29 September 1849 at age 44; she was buried in Hove Churchyard, alongside her son Bruce.

He was clearly seen by many as a hero at the time, including Boswell, who knew him. Paoli even witnessed Boswell's marriage. As Paoli quit Corsica for London in 1769 and lived there some years, I'm convinced he accounts for the Edward Paoli Lascelles born in 1770. Boswell paints him as a cleancut and moral figure, who urged him to marry rather than pursue his libertine ways, while remaining single himself."
