Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner was baptized on 27 October 1804 at St. James's, Westminster; eldest daughter. She was the daughter of
The Rt. Hon. Sir Herbert Jenner PC and
Elizabeth Lascelles. Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner married
Robert Francis Jenner, son of
Robert Jenner and
Frances Lascelles, on 10 August 1824; This was a marriage of double first cousins, and it produced 15 children: one of them, Emma, wrote of her mother: "She always thought the year wasted if there was not a new baby born." Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner appeared in the household of
Robert Francis Jenner in the 1841 census at Wenvoe Castle. Elizabeth Lascelles Jenner "was undoubtedly the best private singer of Handel in England," according to Mr Ellerton, "a great musician". She died on 29 September 1849 at age 44; she was buried in Hove Churchyard, alongside her son Bruce.
