     Frank Freer was the son of Leacroft Freer and Eliza Powell Dudley. Frank Freer married an unknown person. He died at In Infancy.

     Helena Freer was A Nurse. She was born in 1857 at Kingswinford, Staffs.. She was the daughter of Leacroft Freer and Eliza Powell Dudley. Helena Freer lived in 1934 at Rickmansworth. She died after 1934.

     Harold Henry Freer Mr. was Lived At Hawthorns, Bromlyn Lane, Kingswinford, Worcs. He was born in 1884. He was the son of Henry Freer and Agnes Elizabeth ("Lily") Davis Miss. Harold Henry Freer Mr. died in 1904.

     Nathaniel Blencowe Mr. was the son of Nathaniel Blencowe. Nathaniel Blencowe Mr. was Registrar and Parish Clerk of Brackley.

     John Blencowe was Registrar and Parish Clerk of Brackley. He was born on 11 June 1755 at Brackley. He was the son of Nathaniel Blencowe Mr.. John Blencowe died on 12 June 1835 at Brackley at age 80. He was buried on 15 June 1835 at Brackley.

     Fanny Blencowe Miss was born in 1801 at Brackley. She was christened on 24 February 1801 at Brackley, Northants; daughter of John and Fanny. She was the daughter of John Blencowe. He appeared in the 1871 census at Union Workhouse, Daventry, Northamptonshire; (Thomas French, married, 61, confectioner). He appeared in the 1881 census at Union Workhouse, London Rd., Daventry, Northants; (Thomas French, married, 70, baker). He died on 27 June 1882 at Union Workhouse, Daventry; aged 72, journeyman baker, of "Synovitis absesses and ulcer exhaustion", death informed by the master of the workhouse.

     Elizabeth French Blencowe was born on 17 August 1840 at Daventry; "Elizabeth French Blencowe" said to be aged 38/48/58 in the 1881/91/1901 Censuses, which must mean - incorrectly - that she was born 1843: perhaps playing down her age?! She was the daughter of Thomas French and Fanny Blencowe Miss. Elizabeth French Blencowe was christened on 3 November 1840 at Daventry; Not in IGI. She appeared in the household of Ann (?) in the 1851 census at Brook Street, Daventry. As of 28 August 1870,her married name was Mrs. Hodgkiss. Elizabeth French Blencowe married Henry Edward Hodgkiss, son of Henry Hodgkiss and Emma Worrall, on 28 August 1870 at St. Bartholomew's Edgbaston, Birmingham; "Elizabeth Blincowe French" on the marriage cert.: witnesses: Edward Hodgkiss, Mary Ann Henderson. As of 21 June 1880, Elizabeth French Blencowe was also known as on daughter's birth cert. "Elizabeth Hodgkiss formerly French." She appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1881 census at 18 Long St., Aston, Birmingham. Mrs. Elizabeth French Hodgkiss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1891 census at 63 Long Street, Aston, Birmingham. Mrs. Elizabeth French Hodgkiss appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss at 42 Long St., Aston, Birmingham; (Head: Henry Hodgkiss, a surgical instrument maker, aged 57, his wife Elizabeth, 58, and their 3 daughters Blanche, 24, paper box maker, Emily, 20, rule ? [illegible] and Florrie, 18). Elizabeth French Blencowe died after 31 March 1901; No sign of her in free BMD, searching from March 1901 to 1922.

     Henry Edward Hodgkiss was born on 27 February 1843 at 4 Richmond Street, City Rd., London, Mddx.. He was the son of Henry Hodgkiss and Emma Worrall. Henry Edward Hodgkiss was christened on 15 January 1844 at St Leonard's, Shoreditch, London; (Shoreditch is not near to where he was born, and the christening date is quite a bit after the birth, but this is the only one for HH in the IGI - and the parents semm right.). He appeared in the household of Henry Hodgkiss in the 1851 census at 11 Spring Street, Clerkenwell, London. Henry Edward Hodgkiss appeared in the 1861 census at 280 Broad St, Court 6, House 1. He was surgical instrument maker at Salts Birmingham: factory, Vincent St., admin. Cherry St. On 28 August 1870. He married Elizabeth French Blencowe, daughter of Thomas French and Fanny Blencowe Miss, on 28 August 1870 at St. Bartholomew's Edgbaston, Birmingham; "Elizabeth Blincowe French" on the marriage cert.: witnesses: Edward Hodgkiss, Mary Ann Henderson. Henry Edward Hodgkiss was surgical instrument maker on 21 June 1880. He appeared in the 1881 census at 18 Long St., Aston, Birmingham; aged 38, b. Middlesex, surgical instrument maker, with wife and 4 children - no servants. He appeared in the 1891 census at 63 Long Street, Aston, Birmingham; (Head: Henry Hodgkiss, aged 47,a surgical instrument maker, with wife Elizabeth, 48, and 5 children - Henry 18, printer compositer, Elizabeth B. 15, rule maker, Hetty A. 13, Emily G. 10 and Frances M. 9). He appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at 42 Long St., Aston, Birmingham; (Head: Henry Hodgkiss, a surgical instrument maker, aged 57, his wife Elizabeth, 58, and their 3 daughters Blanche, 24, paper box maker, Emily, 20, rule ? [illegible] and Florrie, 18). He died on 11 April 1921 at 98 Long St., Sparkbrook, Birmingham, at age 78; occupation: surgical instrument maker journeyman: died of myocardial degeneration. Death registered by his daughter, EGG.

     Henry Hodgkiss was born in 1819 at Birmingham. He was baptized on 1 October 1819 at St. Martin, Birmingham. He was Brass Finisher on 27 February 1843. He lived on 13 March 1843 at 4 Richmond St., Holborn, London. He married Emma Worrall on 13 March 1843 at St. Andrew Holborn, London; HH a brass founder, son of WH brassfounder. Henry Hodgkiss appeared in the 1851 census at 11 Spring Street, Clerkenwell, London. He died on 2 February 1861; aged 42. He was buried after 2 February 1861 at Tower Hamlets Cemetery. He was brass founder: given in daughter's marriage cert., when he was NOT shown as dec'd on 28 August 1870.

     Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss was Anglican. He was born on 1 December 1872 at Daventry; said to have been born in Birmingham in 1881 and 1891 Censuses. He was the son of Henry Edward Hodgkiss and Elizabeth French Blencowe. Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1881 census at 18 Long St., Aston, Birmingham. Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1891 census at 63 Long Street, Aston, Birmingham. Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss married Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil in 1897. Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss was a printer, and started his own printing business at Claremont (which continued till 1954) upon his arrival in South Africa in 1904. He died on 4 December 1958 at South Africa at age 86.

     Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil was born on 6 May 1873. She married Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss, son of Henry Edward Hodgkiss and Elizabeth French Blencowe, in 1897. Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil died in 1969.

     (Harry) Arthur (Fred) Hodgkiss was born on 6 December 1898. He was the son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. (Harry) Arthur (Fred) Hodgkiss married Susannah ("Suzie") van Schalkwyk in 1928. (Harry) Arthur (Fred) Hodgkiss died in 1977; childless.

     Susannah ("Suzie") van Schalkwyk married (Harry) Arthur (Fred) Hodgkiss, son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil, in 1928. Susannah ("Suzie") van Schalkwyk died in 1970.

     Robert ("Bobby") Hodgkiss was born on 18 May 1900; so named because he was born on Mafeking Night [but quite why this should be so is a mystery to me - MMD]. He was the son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. Robert ("Bobby") Hodgkiss married Edith Mary ("Eve") Keevy in 1940. Robert ("Bobby") Hodgkiss was over in the UK, and visited the Gateleys and Davises, while attending the World Scout Jamboree circa 1947. He died in 1983.

     Donald ("Buster") Hodgkiss was born in 1928. He was the son of Robert ("Bobby") Hodgkiss. Donald ("Buster") Hodgkiss died in 2007.

     Edith Mary ("Eve") Keevy      1 NOTE Known as Lilith, the godess of storms. She was born in 1915. She married Robert ("Bobby") Hodgkiss, son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil, in 1940. Edith Mary ("Eve") Keevy died in 1967.

     Hendrik ("Henry", ex-"Baby") Hodgkiss was born on 2 November 1901. He was the son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. Hendrik ("Henry", ex-"Baby") Hodgkiss married Doris Eileen ("Dorrie") Palm in 1927. Hendrik ("Henry", ex-"Baby") Hodgkiss died in 1984.

     Doris Eileen ("Dorrie") Palm was born in 1904. She married Hendrik ("Henry", ex-"Baby") Hodgkiss, son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil, in 1927. Doris Eileen ("Dorrie") Palm died in 1985.

     Hester Elizabeth Maria ("Girlie") Hodgkiss was born on 23 June 1903. She was the daughter of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. Hester Elizabeth Maria ("Girlie") Hodgkiss died on 29 July 1994 at South Africa at age 91; unmarried.

     Sidney ("Boy") Hodgkiss was born on 20 August 1905. He was the son of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. Sidney ("Boy") Hodgkiss married Elizabeth ("Betty") McKenzie in 1937. Sidney ("Boy") Hodgkiss died in 1959.

     Doris Maud Hodgkiss was born on 6 March 1907. She was the daughter of Henry Edward ("Harry") Hodgkiss and Maria Anna Jacoba Eksteen ("Nonnie") Vercueil. Doris Maud Hodgkiss died on 23 June 1988 at age 81.

     (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss was born on 12 October 1876 at Daventry. She was the daughter of Henry Edward Hodgkiss and Elizabeth French Blencowe. (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1881 census at 18 Long St., Aston, Birmingham. (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1891 census at 63 Long Street, Aston, Birmingham. (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss witnessed the marriage of Sidney Charles Evans and Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss on 22 October 1898 at Aston Register Office; Hettie lived at 42 Long St., Sparkbrook. (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss at 42 Long St., Aston, Birmingham; (Head: Henry Hodgkiss, a surgical instrument maker, aged 57, his wife Elizabeth, 58, and their 3 daughters Blanche, 24, paper box maker, Emily, 20, rule ?      Joan Farren Miss was born circa 1916. She was the daughter of (Elizabeth) Blanche Hodgkiss Miss. Joan Farren Miss died on 26 June 1976; ? whether this was the actual date of her death, but she was born on 26 June.

     Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss was born on 11 October 1878 at Birmingham. She was the daughter of Henry Edward Hodgkiss and Elizabeth French Blencowe. Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1881 census at 18 Long St., Aston, Birmingham. Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss appeared in the household of Henry Edward Hodgkiss in the 1891 census at 63 Long Street, Aston, Birmingham. As of circa 1898,her married name was Evans. Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss married Sidney Charles Evans on 22 October 1898 at Aston Register Office; Hettie lived at 42 Long St., Sparkbrook. Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss died on 31 December 1954 at 98 Long Street at age 76; (She was also living there in 1942, when her son Stanley and family were killed in the Blitz.).

     Sidney Charles Evans married Hettie (Or "Kathey") Amelia Hodgkiss, daughter of Henry Edward Hodgkiss and Elizabeth French Blencowe, on 22 October 1898 at Aston Register Office; Hettie lived at 42 Long St., Sparkbrook. Sidney Charles Evans died on 7 February 1941 at by the Post Office, Newton Regis, Tamworth, Warwickshire; He died of heart disease and emphysema of lungs whilst staying (with his brother?) at New Cottage, Clifton Campville, Lichfield: he is described as an engineer fitter (retired). His death was registered by E G Evans, his brother.
