     Ernest Leacroft Freer was the son of Harold Douglas Freer.

She appeared in the 1891 census at Ladywood.

     Frances Gateley was born on 28 October 1843. She was the daughter of Francis Edward Gateley and Elizabeth Ann Jones. Frances Gateley was baptized on 7 December 1846 at St Martin's, Birmingham. She appeared in the household of Francis Edward Gateley in the 1851 census at 4 Old Meeting Street, Birmingham. Frances Gateley appeared in the household of Elizabeth Ann Gateley in the 1861 census at 2 Old Meeting St, Good Fellow's Lodge, Digbeth, Birmingham. He died on 16 September 1901 at age 77.

     Eliza Harper was born in 1825 at Darlaston, Staffordshire. She married John Gateley, son of Martin Gateley and Ann (Or Hannah) Owen, between 1 April 1849 and 30 June 1849 at Wolverhampton. Her married name was Gateley. Eliza Harper appeared in the household of John Gateley in the 1851 census at 20 Weaman Street, Birmingham. Eliza Harper was [the entry says "school"] in 1855 at 36 Victoria Grove, Birmingham. She appeared in the household of John Gateley in the 1861 census at Brunswick House, 61 Wellington Road, Handsworth, Birmingham. Eliza Harper died between 1 October 1867 and 31 December 1867 at Aston; [An Eliza Gateley died then aged 43 - which may or may not be the right one].

     Sarah Ann Gateley was born on 11 July 1825. She was the daughter of Martin Gateley and Ann (Or Hannah) Owen. Sarah Ann Gateley was baptized on 20 December 1825 at St. Chad's, Birmingham; Godparents: James Stone and Sarah Ann Southam. As of between 1 July 1840 and 30 September 1840,her married name was Hand. She witnessed the marriage of Benjamin Bourne and Ann Gateley on 12 October 1844 at St. Philip's Church, Birmingham; (the groom's occupation was plater, and he lived in Sheep Street, Birmingham, the bride living in Lichfield Street: the marriage was witnessed by Sarah and William Hand).

     Elizabeth Gateley was born on 28 May 1829 at Birmingham. She was the daughter of Martin Gateley and Ann (Or Hannah) Owen. Elizabeth Gateley was baptized on 30 June 1829.      John Gateley married Dorothy Connor. John Gateley married Elizabeth (?) before 12 October 1839. John Gateley died on 12 October 1839 at 6 Wood Street, Birmingham; aged 54, a carpenter - of a billious attack; death informed by Delia Gateley [illiterate], present at the death, of 6 Wood Street: the death was not registered until 16th November. He was his daughter's marriage certificate says he had been a carpenter (though it does not say he was then dead) on 12 October 1844.

     Her married name was Gateley. Dorothy Connor married John Gateley.

     Thomas Gateley was born on 9 January 1813; the parents said to be from Camb, Co Roscommon. He was the son of John Gateley and Dorothy Connor. Thomas Gateley was baptized on 24 January 1813 at St Peter's RC Church, Broad Street, Birmingham; "Matrina Anna Howley proxi pro Sara Ross." He married Elizabeth Adcock on 28 January 1833 at St Philip's, Birmingham.
