     P H Maitland of Lindula died before 1893. He was associated with Edwin Rice Wiggin Dascan Maitland was CAD's godfather. He owned and ran the 207-acre Melton estate, in Lindula, the heart of Ceylon tea land, from the '20s to the late '60s. Originally a coffee estate, it was planted with tea c1880, when the owner was a Mrs Busche, and the Superintendent a PH Maitland, possibly Dascan's father. In 1899 it was owned by a Mrs Wiggin, and superintended by ER Wiggin. In 1899 at Melton Estate, Lindula, Ceylon.

     Brian Cochrane Holme Mowbray was born in 1909. He died in July 2001.

     George Robert Rice was born on 10 May 1804 at Great Barrington; a twin (the younger). He was the son of The Hon. & Very Rev. Dr. Edward Rice DD and Charlotte Lascelles. George Robert Rice was baptized on 4 June 1804. He died in 1854.

     Edward Paoli Lascelles was born on 25 August 1770 at London; "of Francis Lascelles Esq and Ann his wife." He was the son of General Francis Lascelles and Ann or Anne Catley. Edward Paoli Lascelles was baptized on 3 September 1770 at St Martin's in the Fields; 2nd name "Paoli" : Alex Campbell says she has been "reading a very abbreviated edition of Boswell's diaries we have in which Pasquale Paoli crops up. He was clearly seen by many as a hero at the time, including Boswell, who knew him. Paoli even witnessed Boswell's marriage. As Paoli quit Corsica for London in 1769 and lived there some years, I'm convinced he accounts for the Edward Paoli Lascelles born in 1770. Boswell paints him as a cleancut and moral figure, who urged him to marry rather than pursue his libertine ways, while remaining single himself."

     "Mother Lelia" Byner was the daughter of James Byner and Anne Sabina Wightwick. "Mother Lelia" Byner died circa 1950; Rachel Godfrey thought she died between 1945 and the early '50s, but no trace in 1837 online between Jan 45 and Dec 50.

     William Reynolds was baptized on 8 February 1784 at Burford, Shropshire. He was the son of William Reynolds and Martha Weaver. William Reynolds witnessed the marriage of Samuel Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Reynolds on 26 June 1804 at Nash Chapel, Burford, Salop; groom spelled Davies in the Register, by licence. Witnesses Wm. Reynolds, presumably the bride's father (but could be her brother), and WalterTolley. William Reynolds was living on 19 June 1837 at Whatmore, Burford, Shropshire. He lived in 1851 at Whatmore, Burford, Shropshire; "Mr Reynolds" was a principal landowner in Boraston and Whatmore. He was named as party to deeds of Berrington House, in 1859 possibly as vendor between 1858 and 1859 at Berrington House, Tenbury Wells. He died on 13 October 1866 at Tenbury at age 82.

     Thomas Weaver was baptized on 5 May 1746 at Burford, Shropshire. He died after 5 May 1746. He was the son of William Weaver and Rebecca Bird.

     William Weaver was baptized on 11 April 1756 at Burford, Shropshire. He died after 11 April 1756. He was the son of William Weaver and Rebecca Bird.

     John Reynolds was baptized on 16 November 1804 at Burford. He was the son of William Reynolds.

     Charles Wightwick was born circa 1767 at Tenterden, Kent. He was the son of Humphrey Wightwick and Sarah Landsell. Charles Wightwick married Ann Mercer on 6 November 1792. Charles Wightwick died on 4 December 1827 at Tenterden, Kent.

     Jane Muddle was baptized on 16 August 1812 at Cranbrook. She was the daughter of Samuel Muddle and Sarah Morris. As of between 1 July 1837 and 30 September 1837,her married name was Wightwick. Jane Muddle married Humphrey Wightwick, son of Charles Wightwick and Ann Mercer, between 1 July 1837 and 30 September 1837 at Shoreditch, London. Jane Wightwick appeared in the household of Humphrey Wightwick in the 1851 census at East Heath, Hawkhurst. Jane Wightwick appeared in the household of Humphrey Wightwick in the 1861 census at East Heath, Hawkhurst, Kent. Jane Muddle died after 7 April 1861.

     Samuel Muddle was born circa 1790. He married Sarah Morris, daughter of William Morris and Sarah Crow, on 6 May 1801 at Cranbrook. Samuel Muddle died after 16 August 1812.

     Sarah Morris was born on 28 May 1775. She was the daughter of William Morris and Sarah Crow. Sarah Morris was baptized on 5 July 1775 at Cranbrook. As of 6 May 1801,her married name was Muddle. She married Samuel Muddle on 6 May 1801 at Cranbrook. Sarah Morris died after 16 August 1812.
