     Kenneth Bertram Davis was born on 3 January 1910 at Moseley, Birmingham. He was the son of Arthur Bertram Davis and Gertrude Pickering. Kenneth Bertram Davis was authorised by the Post Office to receive wireless signals, using code no BRS2, which he did for a number of years: he also experimented with television in its earliest days, certainly before World War II. In post-War times, on his retirement, he became passionately interested in - and very knowledgeable about - Great Britain's stamps on 9 January 1923 at 140 Colege Rd., Moseley, Birmingham. He married Emily Mary Gateley MBE, daughter of Arthur John Gateley KSG and Emily Gertrude Hodgkiss, on 2 December 1939 at The Oratory, Birmingham; Elizabeth P-Brown was a bridesmaid. Kenneth Bertram Davis was he went for three days on 18 May 1954 at Dusseldorf. He lived in August 1966 at Tilletts' flat, Seaview House, Seaview; on holiday. He lived in August 1967 at Seaview House, Seaview; on holiday. He died on 7 January 1983 at age 73.

She married Kenneth Bertram Davis, son of Arthur Bertram Davis and Gertrude Pickering, on 2 December 1939 at The Oratory, Birmingham; Elizabeth P-Brown was a bridesmaid. Emily Mary Gateley MBE was ill with a heart attack in 1972 at Arrow Old Rectory. As of 11 June 1988,her married name was Tillett MBE. She married Cyril Vernon Tillett on 11 June 1988 at Our Lady & St. Simon Stock, Putney, London. Emily Mary Gateley MBE died on 15 March 2003 at The Coach House, Arrow, near Alcester, Warwickshire, at age 86; following a massive stroke 10 days earlier. She was buried on 25 March 2003 at Arrow.

He lived in 1850 at Titley, nr. Lyonshall. He lived on 30 March 1851 at Village Fm. House, Bromfield, Shropshire; (Head: Peter Davis, married aged 40, farmer of 480 acres employing 7 labourers, b Burford, with his wife Jane, 25, b Lyonshall, with 3 children, JJ aged 5, GL aged 3 (both b Pembridge) & LJM aged 1 (b Titley); and Jane Jeffries, 49, annuitant, widow, b Kington, Edward J Jeffries, 23, unmarried, farmer's son, and Elizabeth Jeffries, 19, both born Lyonshall + 3 female, 4 male servants). He lived on 28 September 1860 at Bickmarsh Hall, Warwickshire; "We have a copy of sale particulars dated 1858 (ref. CR1596/Box 82/16) for the Hall and the Bickmarsh estate (995 acres) when the tenant was John Bursell. We also have a valuation of the fixtures at the Hall dated 28th September 1860 (ref. CR 2433/31/47) at the handover from Bursell to Peter Davis." NB The particulars were for a sale of 995 acres (freehold) of the Bickmarsh Estate, including the Hall, due to take place by auction on 30th Sept. 1858. The licence (dated 20 Jan. 45) says the groom was 33 and the bride 19, both of Pembridge parish, the bride's mother (a widow) consenting to the match. He married Elizabeth Reynolds, daughter of William Reynolds and Martha Weaver, on 26 June 1804 at Nash Chapel, Burford, Salop; groom spelled Davies in the Register, by licence. Witnesses Wm. Reynolds, presumably the bride's father (but could be her brother), and WalterTolley. Samuel Davis Sr. lived before 1822 at Lower Nash, Salop. He lived in 1822 at Dean Park, Burford, Salop; (Note, that on 8th February 1685, three children of John & Elizabeth Hall, of Deane Park, were baptised; and on 29th February 1691, Jon Hill, keeper of Deane Parke, was buried. So this was a long-established place of residence.). He was a farmer. He lived before 1837 at Burford Rectory, Burford, Salop. He died on 30 August 1837 at Burford, Salop; of dropsy. He was buried on 2 September 1837 at Burford; "In memory of Samuel Davis who died 30 August 1837 aged 69 years", according to his gravestone.      The Rev. Samuel Davis was born in 1807 at Burford, Salop; In the census returns, he is said to be born 1810. He was christened on 2 January 1810 at Burford, Shropshire. He was the son of Samuel Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Reynolds. The Rev. Samuel Davis Samuel Davis "of Worcestershire" (sic), admitted as a Pensioner - but did not reside on 23 October 1830 St. John's College, Cambridge. He matriculated Michaelmas 1831 (admitted under Mr Ash); Scholar (Salop), 1 November 1832; B.A. (33rd Wrangler) 1835 on 10 October 1831 Christ's Coillege, Cambridge. He was ordained in 1835 at Exeter; a Deacon. He married Lucinda Buckingham, daughter of The Rev. James Buckingham, on 16 June 1836 at Burrington, Devon; "Before his marriage, he met all three of his future wives on the same day," according to Great-nephew RL Davis. The Rev. Samuel Davis was ordained in 1837; a priest. He witnessed the probate of the estate of Samuel Davis Sr. after 6 September 1837; Probate of their father's will was granted to Wm, Samuel (Junior) and Peter Davis. The Rev. Samuel Davis was "Chaplain" in 1841 at Bude, Cornwall. He was Curate of Burrington between 1847 and 1852 at Burrington, near Chulmleigh, Devon, England. He appeared in the household of The Rev. James Buckingham in the 1851 census at The Vicarage, Burrington, Devon. The Rev. Samuel Davis was Vicar of Burrington.
