Frederick Mellor after 1870. (Eliza) Helen Child lived on 4 April 1881 at Byletts Cottage, Pembridge, Herefordshire. She died on 29 September 1923.

     The Rev. Frederick Mellor was born in 1849 at St. Mary, Huntingdon. He was educated circa 1870 at M.A., Cambridge, England. He married (Eliza) Helen Child, daughter of William Child Jr. and Eliza Turner, after 1870. The Rev. Frederick Mellor was Curate of Pembridge on 4 April 1881 at Byletts Cottage, Pembridge, Herefordshire. He was employed by Vicar there for 33 years, till 1924 in 1891 at The Rector of Dilwyn, Herefordshire, England. He died on 13 January 1930.

     Her married name was Blackmore. Ethel Helen Mellor married Samuel Percy Blackmore. Ethel Helen Mellor was born in 1881. She was the daughter of The Rev. Frederick Mellor and (Eliza) Helen Child. Ethel Helen Mellor died on 21 November 1926 at Port Said, Egypt.

     Alice Ann Child was born on 29 August 1850 at Leintwardine, Herefordshire. She was the daughter of William Child Jr. and Eliza Turner. Her married name was Britten. Alice Ann Child married William Edward Britten, son of Charles Britten and Mary Anne Jeffries. Alice Ann Child lived on 4 April 1881 at Castle Farm, Stapleton, Herefordshire. She died after 1883.

     William Edward Britten was born on 30 November 1849 at Byton, Hereford. He was the son of Charles Britten and Mary Anne Jeffries. William Edward Britten appeared in the household of Mary Anne Jeffries in the 1871 census at Lower House, Stapleton Court Farm, Presteigne, Herefordshire. William Edward Britten married Alice Ann Child, daughter of William Child Jr. and Eliza Turner. William Humphrey Child. Beatrice Mary Davis lived on 4 April 1881 at 32 Ker Street, Stoke Damerel, Devon. She died in 1926; without issue.

     The Rev. William Humphrey Child was born in 1845 at Leintwardine, Herefordshire. He married Beatrice Mary Davis, daughter of William Davis Sr. and Martha Child. The Rev. William Humphrey Child was Curate, St. Stephen's Devenport BMAC (whatever that stands for) on 4 April 1881 at 32 Ker Street, Stoke Damerel, Devon. He was Executor on 5 February 1903 at acted as executor of his mother-in-law's will. He lived on 5 February 1903 at 12 Clarendon Place, Plymouth, Devon, England.

     Her married name was Minnie S. Davis. Minnie S. Butt married John ("Jack") Samuel Champion Davis CBE, DL, JP, VD, son of The Rev. Samuel Davis and Jane Elizabeth Blackmore; (Searched FreeBMD in vain for John Davis = Butt 1877-1881: 24/1/05 - but they may have married abroad.). Minnie S. Butt was born in 1861 at British East India. She died after 1882.

     Her married name was Birdwood. Dora Davis was born in 1882. She was the daughter of John ("Jack") Samuel Champion Davis CBE, DL, JP, VD and Minnie S. Butt. Dora Davis died in 1905.

     Hilda Davis was the daughter of John ("Jack") Samuel Champion Davis CBE, DL, JP, VD and Minnie S. Butt. Her married name was Clifford.

     Patience Clifford was the daughter of Hilda Davis. Her married name was Bayne-Powell. Patience Clifford married Henry Makepeace Bayne-Powell.

     Henry Makepeace Bayne-Powell was born at Oxon Heath, Tonbridge, Kent. He married Patience Clifford, daughter of Hilda Davis.

     John Corser was baptized on 16 December 1804 at Shipton, Shropshire. He was the son of Richard Corser and Elizabeth (?). John Corser was born in 1805. He married Eliza Davis, daughter of Samuel Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Reynolds, between 1 April 1842 and 30 June 1842 at Presteigne, Herefordshire. John Corser died on 12 December 1871 at Moor House, Shipton, at age 66. He was buried at Shipton.

     William Reynolds Corser was born on 4 June 1851 at Moor House, Shipton, Shropshire. He was the son of John Corser and Eliza Davis. William Reynolds Corser married Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Taylor on 19 June 1875 at Bolas Church. William Reynolds Corser was Farmer of 306 acres with 6 men on 4 April 1881 at Moorhouse, Shipton, Shropshire. He died on 27 January 1894 at age 42.

     Annie Corser was born on 3 January 1881. She was the daughter of William Reynolds Corser and Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Taylor. Annie Corser died on 16 January 1881 at Shipton at age 0. She was buried at Shipton.

     Elizabeth ("Bessie") Caroline Corser "very outgoing - took an active part in local amdram etc." She was born on 10 December 1879 at Moor House, Shipton, Shropshire. She was the daughter of William Reynolds Corser and Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Taylor. Elizabeth ("Bessie") Caroline Corser lived at Wellington. She died on 11 June 1970 at age 90. She was buried at Shipton.

As of 9 June 1912,her married name was Dickinson. She married Evelyn James Dickinson on 9 June 1912. Joyce Jeffries Davis died on 15 November 1933 at North Vancouver at age 52.

     Mary Jeffries Davis was born on 23 August 1883 at Grimley. She was the daughter of John Jeffries Davis and Catherine ("Kate") Freer. As of circa 1895,her married name was Baker. Mary Jeffries Davis married Edward Watkins-Baker. Mary Jeffries Davis emigrated circa 1907; to BC, Canada. She died on 22 May 1961 at age 77. She was buried at Capilano View Cemetery, West Vancouver, BC.

     Edith Jeffries-Davis was born on 30 December 1885 at Grimley. She was the daughter of John Jeffries Davis and Catherine ("Kate") Freer. Edith Jeffries-Davis lived in January 1911 at Croydon; at time of marriage. As of 29 January 1911,her married name was Rogers. She married Alexander John Rogers on 29 January 1911. Edith Jeffries-Davis emigrated in 1929 from New Brunswick, Canada. She emigrated in 1929 from Canada. She died in 1980 at Springhill, Nova Scotia.

     Hilda Jeffries Davis lived at Shrewsbury. She was born on 20 April 1889 at Cross-o'-the-Hill Farm, Stratford-upon-Avon. She was the daughter of John Jeffries Davis and Catherine ("Kate") Freer. Hilda Jeffries Davis was a gym instructress, known as "Bunge", who later suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis: she had "a genius for friendship" between 1916 and 1949 at Shrewsbury High School (for girls). She died on 30 March 1964 at on Easter Monday, in hospital, at age 74; residence at time of death: 36 Kemo's Eye Avenue, Shrewsbury. "She and Miss Anderson enjoyed so many years together." This was a Scottish lady called Winnie A Anderson. Hilda had suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis. She was buried on 3 April 1964 at St Chad's, Shrewsbury; funeral service followed by cremation.

     Evelyn James Dickinson was born on 9 May 1884 at Oxford. He married Joyce Jeffries Davis, daughter of John Jeffries Davis and Catherine ("Kate") Freer, on 9 June 1912. Evelyn James Dickinson died on 1 December 1969 at Vancouver at age 85.

     Edward Watkins-Baker He was a great boxer, and especially Rugby player, one of seven brothers who all played the game. He married Mary Jeffries Davis, daughter of John Jeffries Davis and Catherine ("Kate") Freer. Edward Watkins-Baker emigrated in 1907 from Vancouver, Canada; he worked in Canada in fish and wildlife management at Massett, Queen Charlotte Islands. He died on 12 January 1967 at age 88.
