     Frank Davis was born circa 1873. He was the son of Edward Prosser Davis. Frank Davis was educated circa 1877 at Rugby School.. He began military service the Army to fight in WW1; and had a nervous breakdown. He was living in 1960. He died in 1968.

     Phyllis Davis was born circa 1874. She was the daughter of Edward Prosser Davis. Phyllis Davis died circa 1940; no issue.

     Eric Davis was born circa 1874. He was the son of Edward Prosser Davis. Eric Davis was educated circa 1877 at Rugby School.. He began military service He won the MC in WW1. He died circa 1940; no issue.

     Commander (Charles) Jauncy Davis RN was born in 1888. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. Commander (Charles) Jauncy Davis RN was born circa 1900. He was In the Navy circa 1911. He was living on 12 May 1927. He lived circa 1945 at Naples, Italy. He died on 10 May 1976. He was buried at Burford.

     The Rev. Ralph Leigh Davis was born in 1893 at Dene Park, Burford. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. The Rev. Ralph Leigh Davis was educated circa 1909 at Worcester Cathedral School. He was fought in World War I (and was gassed several times) - was recommended to be a pay clerk in 1914. He lived circa 1918 at Kenya. He was educated circa 1919 at London, England; studued Theology at King's College. He a general search for him in Kelly's Kent produced nothing. In 1927. He was living on 12 May 1927. He was assistant priest at Holy Trinity, Nelson Place, Broadstairs in 1936 at 91 Bradstow Way. He died in 1968.

     (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis was born in 1890. She was the daughter of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of Martha Child at Castlemead, Burford; (Head: Martha Davis, 81, widow, living on own means, with niece Beatrice Anslow, single, 29, companion and granddaughter Frances E.H. Davis, 10, and a cook and a housemaid). (Frances Eliza) Helen Davis was living on 12 May 1927. She died in 1969.

     Thomas Byner was born circa 1781 at somewhere outside Sussex. Heappeared in the 1841 census at Sedlescombe, Sussex. He died between 7 June 1841 and 30 March 1851.

     Elizabeth Rice was baptized on 8 December 1809 at Sutton-in-the-Forest, Yorkshire. She was the daughter of The Hon. & Very Rev. Dr. Edward Rice DD and Charlotte Lascelles. Elizabeth Rice was buried on 13 October 1828 at Oddington; "4th daughter of the Dean of Gloucester." She died on 13 October 1828 at age 18.

     (Mary) Louisa Rice was baptized on 2 October 1816 at Great Barrington. She was the daughter of The Hon. & Very Rev. Dr. Edward Rice DD and Charlotte Lascelles. (Mary) Louisa Rice was a witness when The Hon. & Very Rev. Dr. Edward Rice DD was at dinner with Francis Witts on 3 August 1836 at Upper Slaughter. (Mary) Louisa Rice died on 21 February 1845 at age 28. She was buried at Oddington; said to be aged 27 on her tomb.

     The Hon. John Talbot Rice JP was born on 16 April 1819 at Worcester. He was the son of The Hon. & Very Rev. Dr. Edward Rice DD and Charlotte Lascelles. The Hon. John Talbot Rice JP married Clara Louisa Reade, daughter of Sir John Chandos Reade, on 13 October 1846. The Hon. John Talbot Rice JP appeared in the 1851 census at Great Rissington, Gloucestershire. He married Elizabeth Lucy Boyd on 24 October 1855. The Hon. John Talbot Rice JP lived in 1868 at Oddington House; inherited on the death of his father-in-law: JTR was responsible for demolishing the East Wing, and adding the single-storey service wing at the West end. He was a witness his brothers and sisters were granted, by Royal Patent, the rank and precedence of the younger sons and daughters of a Baron. With The Rev. Francis William Rice 5th Baron Dinevor in 1869. The Hon. John Talbot Rice JP appeared in the 1871 census at Oddington. He appeared in the 1891 census at Oddington. He died on 12 May 1899 at age 80; without issue, and and buried East of the old church at Oddington.

     Sarah Sykes was born on 25 March 1789 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England. As of 4 January 1813,her married name was Fisher. She married Thomas Fisher on 4 January 1813 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Sarah Sykes emigrated in 1821 from Canada. She died on 28 February 1873 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at age 83.

     Edwin Colley Fisher was born on 18 June 1815 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes. Edwin Colley Fisher married Sarah Maria Thomson on 25 June 1846. Edwin Colley Fisher died on 27 January 1879 at age 63.

     Frederick Thomson Fisher married Sarah Boddy. Frederick Thomson Fisher was born on 31 December 1863 at Millwood. He was the son of Edwin Colley Fisher and Sarah Maria Thomson. Frederick Thomson Fisher died on 28 July 1936 at age 72.

     Sarah Boddy had 5 children children. Her married name was Fisher. She married Frederick Thomson Fisher, son of Edwin Colley Fisher and Sarah Maria Thomson. Sarah Boddy was born on 29 October 1869. She died on 6 October 1953 at age 83.

     Sidney Thomson Fisher was born on 8 August 1908 at Gull Lake, Alberta, Canada. He was the son of Frederick Thomson Fisher and Sarah Boddy. Sidney Thomson Fisher died in June 1992 at age 83.

     George Thomson was the son of Edward William Thomson. George Thomson died after 1838. He married Sarah Fisher, daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes, on 11 January 1838 at Milwood House; (Peter Scarlett discovered this info - Nov. 03, and has sent me a copy of the marriage cert.). George Thomson was He went to British Honduras circa 1845. He died circa 1847 at British Honduras.

     Edward Thomas Thomson was born on 16 December 1838. He was the son of George Thomson and Sarah Fisher. Edward Thomas Thomson died in 1845; by drowning.

     Mary Harriet Fisher married Frederick Augustus Whitney. Mary Harriet Fisher was born on 16 July 1822. She was the daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes. Mary Harriet Fisher died on 8 February 1854 at age 31.

     Frederick Augustus Whitney had 4 cjhildren children. He married Mary Harriet Fisher, daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes. Frederick Augustus Whitney was born on 27 July 1819. He died on 19 March 1867 at age 47.

     George Thomas Whitney wrote diaries (Mary Louise Ryan has them). He was born in 1843. He was the son of Frederick Augustus Whitney and Mary Harriet Fisher. George Thomas Whitney died in 1872.

     Her married name was Whitney. Elizabeth Fisher married John Wm Gamble Whitney. Elizabeth Fisher was born on 14 February 1825. She was the daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes. Elizabeth Fisher died on 25 December 1915 at age 90.

     John Wm Gamble Whitney married Elizabeth Fisher, daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes. John Wm Gamble Whitney was born in 1824. He died in 1911.

     Lewis Merriam Wiggin was born circa 1923. He was the son of Lewis Merriam Wiggin. Lewis Merriam Wiggin died circa 1982 at Litchfireld, Ct.

     George Heard Hamilton was born on 23 June 1910 at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an art historian. He died on 29 March 2004 at Williamstown, Mass., USA, at age 93; "aged 94."

     Paul Wiggin was born circa 1925. He died circa 1965; suicide.

     Benjamin Holme Mowbray was born on 17 May 1808. He was the son of Benjamin Wiggin and Elizabeth Clement. Benjamin Holme Mowbray married Caroline Elizabeth Cochrane on 18 November 1835. Benjamin Holme Mowbray died on 14 January 1892 at age 83.

     Elizabeth Cranstoun Her great-nephew was Michael Davis' CO when he joined the Staffords. She She was a relation of the novelist Stanley Weyman. She was born before 25 February 1851. She and William ("Will") Samuel Davis were engaged circa 1871; twenty years before he eventually married. Her married name was Davis. Elizabeth Cranstoun lived in 1891 at Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, England. She married William ("Will") Samuel Davis, son of William Davis Sr. and Martha Child, in 1891; twenty years after they had become engaged. Elizabeth Davis appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in the household of William ("Will") Samuel Davis at Stanbrook House, Burford; (Head, William S. Davis, a solicitor aged 53, with his wife Elizabeth, 50, and his brother Edward P Davis, 49, an ironmaster/employer, together with a cook and a housemaid). Elizabeth Cranstoun died on 25 February 1915; and buried in Burford Churchyard.

     Humphrey Peter Davis was born in 1885 at Dene Park. He lived at in Argentina; where he was done in by cattle rustlers, whom he had reported to the police. He was the son of Peter Davis and Fanny Child. Humphrey Peter Davis emigrated in 1916; Argentina.
