She married John Pickering, son of James Pickerill and Jane Hulme, on 30 August 1846 at Bishop Ryder's C of E, Gem St., Gosta Green, B'ham Warwks; This was a C of E church demolished in the 60s when they built Aston University - Gem Street, Gosta Green. Frances Williams lived on 30 August 1846 at 4 ? Edgbaston St., Birmingham. As of 30 August 1846,her married name was Pickering. He was employed by "James and William Mitchell manufacturers of coloured marble, foil papers, card and pasteboards etc." In 1855 at 466 Coventry Road, Birmingham. He appeared in the 1861 census at Moseley Road, King's Norton, Worcestershire.      Anna Maria Mitchell was baptized on 3 September 1815 at Kington. She was the daughter of Dr. John Mitchell and Mary Anne Meredith. Anna Maria Mitchell witnessed the marriage of Peter Davis and Jane Jeffries on 30 January 1845 at Parish Church, Pembridge; by licence; the officiating minister being The Rev. William Lee, the bride's uncle by marriage, and the witnesses mostly being relations of the bride - her father's sister Mary Anne; her brother EJJ, and her mother's brothers John & Henry, brother-in-law John Morgan, and nieces Anna Maria Mitchell and Mary Ann Morgan - plus two called William and Jane, surnames illegible. The licence (dated 20 Jan. 45) says the groom was 33 and the bride 19, both of Pembridge parish, the bride's mother (a widow) consenting to the match. Anna Maria Mitchell died after 30 January 1845. She appeared in the household of Thomas Penn in the 1851 census at Grange House, Green Lanes, Aston, Birmingham.      James Pickerill appeared in the 1851 census. He was born on 6 October 1796 at Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. He was the son of Ellen Pickerill. James Pickerill was baptized on 23 October 1804 at Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was indentured as an apprentice grocer and tallow chandler, for seven years on 4 February 1808 at Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was admitted as a burgess of the Borough on 23 February 1818 at Newcastle-under-Lyme. He married Jane Hulme, daughter of John Hulme and Jane McDonald, on 22 January 1820 at Stoke-upon-Trent, Stafford; groom's name PICKERELL. James Pickerill witnessed the christening of John Pickering on 3 December 1820 at St. Giles', Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. James Pickerill was said to be PICKERING, a chandler in the record of son John's baptism on 3 December 1820 at Newcastle-under-Lyme. Heappeared in the 1841 census at Upper Green, Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was "Pickering" - a gardener on 30 August 1846. He was a tallow chandler on 14 November 1859. He died on 10 May 1860 at Back Garden Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, at age 63; "James PICKERILL, aged 63, gardener, of apoplexy - information received from Joseph Knight, Coroner - inquest held 11th May 1860": (NB Not in IGI) Stoke Archives report (June 2004): "I have looked through the Sentinel, a weekly newspaper at that time, for the following three issues and found no references to James Pickerill. Coroners reports of inquests unfortunately have not survived for this date."
He was buried on 13 May 1860.
